I speak with a lot of women about their
most intimate of secrets and along the way some great info
comes up about way they resolved their vaginal yeast issues. I
enclose some great tips. But first, always, always go to your
doctor first to identify which kind of infection you have. Do
not self-diagnose. DO NOT FEEL SHY over this. It has to be
done. And if you feel worried about it, think of me and say to
yourself "Leeda is going to be so proud of me for doing this;
she knows I am a winner!"
So
Here Are Some Tips For My Favorite Girls Out
There.
1. Douching with COLD water and
a little salt in the water helps to provide fast relief. Where
there is yeast there is heat. The cold water calms this down;
the yeast does not like salty water. This has to be done at
least 2-3 times a day for it to be effective. I spoke with a
woman who was at the end of her rope with repeated yeast
infections. I advised her to sit in a tub of cold water up to
her waist. She was to rub her legs and stomach to help keep
the chill off her body and she was to sit in it for at least
2-3 minutes. She was to repeat this at least 4 times a day.
She reported that the burning and itching went away after
about 8 days. She kept up her Candida Yeast Support pills.
Why is this effective? It's simple. The cold water is
known to oxygenate the blood and send a fresh supply of blood
to the infected area. And we all need to be oxygenated, or so
my husband Mr. Oxygen keeps telling me!
2. After one
woman was at the point of suicide with her vaginal yeast. I
related how other women had put 6-8 drops of 35% peroxide in
water and then douche. She said that greatly helped her. Other
women have done this with iodine. They put in 6-8 drops in
water and douche. Watch this space for articles on peroxide
for beauty coming soon.
3. Another great douche
is to add some cider vinegar to the water and make sure you do
this last thing at night too. Vinegar is slightly acidic and
the microbes are alkaline. Makes sense to use this as the bad
bacteria and pathogenic yeasts don't like acid.
4.
Another great tip is to take a very hot sitz bath and sit in
it for as long as you can bear. There is no contradiction
here. Yeasts hate cold and they hate VERY HOT temperatures.
(Warmth tho helps it grow). But the alternating hot and cold
drives a fresh, oxygenated supply of blood to the site of
infection.
5. Food is important. Oh how we all love our
stomachs!!! If you want to get relief from your yeast
infection you could consider going on an all raw food diet. I
will explain some reasons for this.
When you cook food
it's no longer the same because you've taken away its
integrity and altered its composition. This enables the
fermentation process to begin much faster.
If you don't
believe me take some cooked food and raw food, put them in two
separate bowls side by side in the kitchen and leave them for
a few days. Then come back and tell me which food stinks the
fastest. It's the cooked food of course because cooking breaks
down the walls of resistance in the cellulose, fiber and
enzyme rich components and the bacteria get to work
fast.
When dealing with a yeast infection you do not
need to have lots of fermentation going on in your large bowel
where the bacteria and pathogenic fungi grow. You need to eat
foods that are the freshest, cleanest foods you can buy. So I
suggest you eat lots of raw foods, nice salads with some
cooked vegetables. I would like to show you how to make your
own kefir which you will love. (Coming soon).
